A veteran of TV\'s Mr. Show (HBO) and The Sarah Silverman Program (Comedy Central), comedian Brian Posehn is an unapologetic, self-described nerd though he hasn\'t always been. \"I don\'t count the first seven (years of my life),\" Posehn told Conan O\'Brien back in 2004. \"Because I don\'t think you ever look at a little kid or a baby and go \'What a nerd! That baby\'s never going to get laid!\'\"

In 2005, Posehn hit the road with fellow stand-ups Maria Bamford, Patton Oswalt and Zach Galifianakis on the Comedians Of Comedy tour, which led to a best-selling DVD. The following year, Posehn\'s debut album Live In: Nerd Rage was released by Relapse Records, a label known for mostly metal and hardcore releases by bands such as Mastodon, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Pig Destroyer.

Posehn\'s love of heavy metal is also a major touchstone of his act, often including songs on his albums recorded with members of Anthrax, White Zombie and Shadows Fall. Elsewhere, Posehn\'s musings on sexual adequacy and married life is crudely honest and instantly relatable. His newest stand-up record is titled Fart & Wiener Jokes.
